Self-taught individuals face both advantages and disadvantages, such as steeper learning curves. These individuals also tend to go their own direction and march to the beat of a different drummer. Jo Ann sees those things as blessings, enabling her to overcome setbacks, find creative approaches, and tackle tasks with determination and resilience.
